Terms governing your access to and use of Paribus
Last updated: 11 August 2026
Please note
Please read these Terms carefully before creating an account or purchasing a plan.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Paribus website, platform, practice materials and related services.
By creating an account, purchasing a plan or otherwise using Paribus, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to them, you should not use the platform.
Paribus (“Paribus”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is an online LNAT preparation service operated by Paribus Education Ltd trading as Paribus.
Registered/business address: Rickford Mill, Rickford, BS40 7AH
Email: admin@paribus.uk
Website: www.paribus.uk
Paribus provides educational materials and tools designed to help users prepare for the Law National Aptitude Test (“LNAT”). Depending on your plan, these may include:
The precise features included in each plan are those described on the Paribus website at the time of purchase.
We may improve, update or replace individual features from time to time, provided that this does not materially reduce the service that you have purchased.
Paribus is an independent educational service.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, Paribus is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by Pearson VUE, the LNAT Consortium, any participating university, UCAS or any other admissions body.
Our questions and materials are designed for preparation purposes and are not official LNAT questions. “LNAT”, university names and other third-party names or marks remain the property of their respective owners.
Paribus is intended to help users develop the reasoning, comprehension, timing and writing skills relevant to the LNAT.
Except for the specific 27+ Score Guarantee described in section 9 and the separate Score Guarantee Terms, we do not promise that use of Paribus will result in:
Universities make their own admissions decisions and may take account of many factors beyond the LNAT. Practice scores, analytics and recommendations generated by Paribus are indicative educational tools. They are not official LNAT results.
Paribus is designed primarily for prospective university applicants.
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
If you are under 18, you should use Paribus with the knowledge and permission of a parent or guardian. A parent or guardian may make payment on behalf of a student.
For purposes of the 27+ Score Guarantee, the Paribus candidate account must nevertheless be registered in the name of the person who will sit the LNAT, even where another person pays for the plan.
You must provide accurate information when creating and maintaining your account.
Your account is personal to you. You must:
You may not share a paid account with another candidate or allow another person to complete practice material on your behalf.
We may take reasonable steps to detect account sharing, automated use, fraud or other misuse.
Paribus may offer Core, Premium or other plans. The price, duration and included features of a paid plan will be displayed before you purchase it.
Your checkout page will also state whether your purchase is:
We will not charge you on a recurring basis unless this is clearly disclosed to you before purchase and you agree to it.
Prices are shown inclusive of applicable taxes where required. Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. Paribus does not normally receive or store your complete payment-card information.
If a payment fails or is reversed, we may suspend paid access while the issue is resolved.
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights that you have under applicable consumer law.
Where applicable, consumers purchasing online may have a statutory cancellation period.
Because Paribus provides digital content and online services that can normally be accessed immediately after purchase, we may ask you at checkout to expressly request or consent to access beginning before the end of any applicable cancellation period and to acknowledge the effect this may have on your right to cancel.
Any such consent will be requested clearly during the checkout process.
Your statutory rights where digital content or services are faulty, not supplied with reasonable care and skill, do not match their description, or otherwise fail to comply with applicable consumer law are unaffected.
Our 27+ Score Guarantee is an additional contractual guarantee and does not replace those statutory rights.
Eligible Premium users are covered by the Paribus 27+ Score Guarantee.
Subject to the Score Guarantee Terms, if an eligible Premium user:
the user may claim a refund of the amount actually paid for the qualifying Premium access.
Completion of Section B practice is not required for the Score Guarantee.
Claims must comply with the separate Paribus 27+ Score Guarantee Terms, which form part of these Terms. The version applying to you will be the version applicable when you purchased the qualifying Premium plan. We will not retrospectively add additional course-completion requirements to an existing qualifying purchase.
Where Paribus records a practice test, drill or other activity as completed, the completion record associated with your account will normally be used to determine whether you completed it.
For Score Guarantee purposes, required materials must be completed before your actual LNAT test date, and at least two Section A practice test must have been completed within the 21 calendar days immediately preceding that date.
You may not artificially generate completion records, have another person complete work for you, use automated tools to complete activities, or otherwise manipulate the platform’s records.
Where a genuine technical problem prevents your progress from being recorded, contact us as soon as reasonably practicable so that we can investigate it.
Where the platform allows you to submit an essay or other written work:
Essay feedback is educational guidance. It is not an official LNAT mark or a prediction of how any particular university will assess your essay.
We will not publicly publish an identifiable user’s essay or use it as a testimonial without permission.
Where we use user work or performance information to improve the platform, we will do so in accordance with our Privacy Policy and, where appropriate, using anonymised or aggregated information.
Unless otherwise stated, the Paribus platform and its contents are owned by or licensed to Paribus. This includes, without limitation:
Purchasing a plan gives you a limited, personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the relevant materials for your own LNAT preparation. It does not transfer ownership of the materials to you.
You must not:
Normal personal study use, including making reasonable personal notes from material you have lawfully accessed, is permitted.
We aim to keep Paribus available and functioning reliably, but uninterrupted access cannot be guaranteed.
We may temporarily restrict access for maintenance, security, updates or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
If a substantial service failure affects paid content, we will take reasonable steps to restore access and, where required by law, provide an appropriate remedy.
We may update Paribus to:
We will not use such changes retrospectively to make an existing Score Guarantee claimant complete additional tests or drills that were not part of their applicable guarantee requirements.
If we make a material change that significantly reduces a paid service during an existing access period, your statutory rights remain unaffected.
We may suspend or restrict an account where we reasonably believe this is necessary because of:
Where appropriate, we will give you an opportunity to explain or remedy the issue. Termination or suspension does not remove any statutory consumer rights you may have.
We are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that was not reasonably foreseeable.
Paribus is supplied for personal educational use. We are not responsible for business losses such as loss of profit, revenue, business opportunity or commercial data where you use Paribus for purposes outside normal consumer use.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence. Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory consumer rights.
Paribus may use or link to third-party services, including payment, hosting, communications and analytics providers.
Third-party websites and services may have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services that you choose to use outside the Paribus platform.
Our collection and use of personal information is governed by the Paribus Privacy Policy. Please read it alongside these Terms.
We may send you service-related communications necessary to operate your account, including:
Marketing communications are handled separately. Where required, we will only send them with an appropriate lawful basis, and you can unsubscribe from marketing at any time.
We may update these Terms where reasonably necessary because of changes to the law, the platform or our business.
If a change materially affects an existing paid user’s rights, we will take reasonable steps to notify that user. Material changes will not retrospectively remove an accrued Score Guarantee right or impose new completion conditions on a Premium plan already purchased.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
If we do not immediately enforce a provision of these Terms, this does not mean that we have waived our right to enforce it later.
These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply in the country in which you normally live.
If you live in England or Wales, the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the United Kingdom in which you live.
We encourage you to contact us first if a dispute arises so that we can try to resolve it.
